Team 1 - W/B 6.11.23

It has been another fantastic week for Team 1 and things are starting to get a little bit Christmassy.

In maths this week, we have been learning how to create addition stories. The children used items from around our classroom to create their own stories before completing their journals. We also started using our Rekenreks this week which will support the childrens numeracy skills.

In English, we have been continuing to use our Mighty Writer skills to practise our sentences about Katie's adventures in London.

In science, we considered the seasons that we have in Britain. Children discussed what happens during autumn and then we went to see how many autumn signs we could find in our school grounds. 

Finally, we have started practising songs for our nativity - the children were fabulous and it is going to be amazing!
