Team 1 Wb. 22.10.18

This week Team 1 have been using their story maps to write their own version of our class story 'Lost and Found'. I've been so impressed with the writing they have produced- it really shows how hard they have worked this half term. 

In maths this week we have been comparing sets of objects and numbers, and working with ordinal numbers. In science, we linked the work on our senses and autumn to create some autumnal writing. In our other afternoon learning, we have been discussing halloween and bonfire night and discussing ways to keep ourselves and others safe during these times. 

We had some fabulous home learning to show on Thursday. Thank you as well to all those parents who were able to join us, it was lovely to see so many children talking to the adults about what they had done. Their communication and confidence blew me away. 

It was lovely to meet our families this week in parents evening and to share with you the amazing start the children have made to Team 1. What a wonderful half term! Well done Team 1, have a lovely break and I will see you on Tuesday 6th November.
