Team 3 - W/b - 23.11.15

In Team 3 this week, we have been looking at the story Meerkat Mail. We have explored the text, made inferences about the characters and discussed the structure. We have also used this story as part of our whole class guided reading sessions.

In Maths, we have focused on fractions as well as continuing to practise our times tables.

In Science, we have been looking at what it means to have a balanced diet and have created pie charts to show the quantities that should be on a plate. We have also investigated the characteristics of herbivores and carnivores.

Singing practise has also continued as we prepare for our performance at Chester Cathedral next week and our school performance. The children have worked hard to learn the songs and they sound fantastic!
