Team 3 - W/b - 30.11.15

This week, Key Stage 2 have been extremely busy with the final preparations for our Christmas performance. We have been learning lines and our songs.

In Team 3, we have continued to learn about journey stories and we have been developing a toolkit for this type of story. In Maths, we have been focusing on fractions, where we have been learning how to add fractions and also how to calculate a fraction of an amount.

During the afternoons, we have been creating our Stone Age jewellery pieces. We used air drying clay to form pieces that could be added to a necklace or bracelet.  We had a lot to think about when making these pieces and most original designs had to be changed. Next, we will be reviewing our pieces.

Finally, during Mouse Mania we brought Christmas to our classroom, decorating our tree, making paper chains and creating Christmas cards.
