We have finally reached a light bulb moment with telling the time! Most of us have now grasped what the minute hand, hour hand and second hand meanS and are now able to tell the time confidently. We have been using this skill to explore and find duration.

The unit of time will continue after half term so if you could continue to support your child with this that would be fantastic for their progress!

In English we have come to the end of our unit about amazing rivers. Using our mastery keys of adverbs, subheadings, the use of ‘a’ and ‘an’, and commands to persuade we have created a fantastic piece of writing that could go on a notice board for the River Dee.

During our reading lessons we have been linking our investigation from science and have expanded our knowledge by reading a text on plants. We even saw an eyeball plant!

In computing, we have enjoyed discussing the importance of safe search. We debated if everything on the internet if believable. We found that sometimes there is fake news!
