Well we are fully into the Christmas spirit…

On Thursday we endured a fabulous trip to Chester. It made us get so excited about Christmas; listening to carols, eating fudge and seeing all the beautiful Christmas markets. Being influenced by the images in the cathedral, we created our own mosaic designs. We will use our research to create our own items to sell at our very own Horn’s Mill markets.

In RE we have been learning about the story of the good samaritan. After watching some videos and having a discussion about how we can relate it to our everyday life, we created our own storyboard with pictures and labels.

In maths we have been using our knowledge of multiplication to find out fact families, including divide. We used lots of different resources to experiment what dividing actually means.

Finally, we got full on Christmassy on Friday by putting our Christmas decorations up… watch out for our naughty elf!!!
