Another fantastic week full of exploring, learning and, most importantly, having fun.

During maths we have been investigating the challenges of addition and how to use the column method to solve 3 digit addition.

At the beginning, we started with 3 digit by 1 digit number and now we are completing 3 digit by 3 digit addition with renaming!!!

In Geography we explored the term ‘erosion’  using a demonstration. Miss Morris showed us how waves and wind can cause the land to be worn away. This led us to the enquiry question of 'is the UK the same all over?'

Within our English lessons this week we have been investigating how prepositions can help our audience picture the scene we are trying to set when writing. Using our knowledge of adverbs, adjectives, verbs and now prepositions, we were able to create a beautiful setting description.

In RE we have been focusing on the religion of Hinduism, especially Diwali and the importance of the celebration for Hindus. We learnt that it is the celebration of light and even created our own rangoli patterns.

Have a fantastic weekend :)
