What a lovely but cold first week back for us all. We were all extremely excited to see snow on our very first day!
We started our week with a recap of our previous learning in maths and English. In maths, this involved us completing a range of questions related to multiplying and dividing two digits by one-digit numbers. We were very proud that we remembered lots of our different methods to help us solve these problems! We then began exploring the bus stop method to help us divide with renaming. Next week, we will be moving on to do some revision to consolidate our mathematical knowledge learnt so far in Team 3.
In English we have been discovering our new text and with the help of some clues, we found it out it is... The stone age boy! We can't wait to find out all about the period of the stone age. This will support our new learning in history.
During our computing lesson we discussed the kind of devices/equipment that we can use to take photographs. We spoke about the importance of only taking appropriate photos, asking permission when taking photographs and the dangers of sharing too much personal information. Using an ipad, we then had fun exploring with the camera app; deleting, editing and zooming in. Our question was 'is it easier to take a selfish or to be photographed by someone else?'. What do you think..?
Have a lovely weekend and wrap up warm :)
