Team 3 WB20.1.25

Team 3 has had another fantastic week.

In maths we have been learning about length and the different measurements that we can use to measure. This has included centimetres, metres and millimetres. Once we were confident, we began to compare lengths and convert them into given measurements. We will be completing our review next week and starting to look at mass.

During science we became petrologists to develop our knowledge of rocks by investigating if they are impermeable  or permeable. We discussed how to make our experiment a fair test and concluded that sedimentary rocks such as sandstone are the most permeable.

In History we developed our understanding of the Stone Age by focusing on the Palaeolithic period. We discovered that at that point they didn’t have a community, moved around to be hunter gatherers and lived in caves… very different to our life!

Please ensure children continue to read at home daily and are practising times tables.

Have a lovely weekend :)
