Team 4 3.3.25
Date: 8th Mar 2025 @ 1:34pm
What another busy week we have had in Team 4!
In our English learning this week, we started reading our new class book ‘When the Giant Stirred’. We explored the first few pages of the text and wrote a description of the island using a range of skills including list sentences, prepositions and also fronted adverbials.
In our math’s learning this week, we continued developing our knowledge and understanding of fractions. We learnt how to find equivalent fractions, how to simplify given fractions and then finally how to add fractions together exploring patterns and rules.
In our afternoon learning, we completed our weekly times tables challenge, we continued our egg experiment in science observing how different liquids dissolve eggs and in music we continued learning chords and songs on the violin with Jay.
Just a couple of reminders for next week:
Please ensure that your child brings in their reading record and book on Monday ready to be checked and swapped. Please ensure that your child has five reads logged in their reading record for the week gone.
Thursday is our usual PE day so please ensure that your child comes to school in their PE kit on this day.
Mouse Mania this Friday is an art afternoon so the children do not need to bring anything in with them.
Have a relaxing weekend Team 4!
