Team 4 w/b 25.4.16

This week we started our new unit of learning all about stories set within a familiar setting. We began learning what this means and how a setting impacts on a story plot. We recapped some of the sentence types we have learnt throughout the year and practised using them to show a range of character feelings in our focus text.

In maths, we have been learning all about negative numbers and using our reasoning and problem solving skills to apply taught skills to help solve them. Towards the end of the week, we then started learning how to count in Roman Numerals.

In topic, we learnt more about who the ancient Greeks were and their relationship with the people of Sparta.
