Team 5 w/b 1.7.19

This week in Team 5 we’ve been using lots of drama to explore our current book, ‘The Paperbag Prince.’  We’ve written persuasive letters to the council, focusing on formal language, modal verbs, adverbs for possibility and persuasive language.  Some of them were very convincing!

A group of 10 from Team 5 went to Helsby High for an RE day on Friday.  They learned lots about different religions and got to meet children from lots of other schools.

The slime-making Mouse Mania has been pushed back to next week so that all of the children can be involved.  If anyone doesn’t want to join in with the slime making then they can play games on the field.
