The penultimate week of the year has flown by!
This week we have been very busy with our writing and the children have spent most of our English lessons drafting their end of unit stories. These stories will be written in the new Year 6 English book ready for Mrs Jobber. We know that she will be impressed!
In PSHE we have been looking at information about drugs and alcohol and learning about risks, stereotypes and what legal and illegal means. There have been some mature discussions that the class have really enjoyed.
We have been treated to two fabulous performances this week. Firstly, the Year 6 Oliver production which was incredibly impressive! Secondly, we had a visit from Dee Banks School choir on Friday and enjoyed singing along with some modern classics. It was a wonderful atmosphere and everybody finished the week with a smile upon their face.
With the addition of the transition day and the excitement of the reports going out, it really has been another busy week! Always so much to celebrate with these lovely children. Well done Team 5.
