Hi Team 5 families,

This week has been a very positive start back after the half term. On Tuesday and Thursday the class spent time working on making movies about their geography learning. They really enjoyed this and it was lovely to hear the children speaking so knowledgably about North America.

In English, we have spent several sessions completing our final piece of writing for Unit 1. This involved the children writing 3 diary extracts and applying the skills that we have covered. I’m genuinely excited about reading them all this weekend.

The class have loved reading some extracts from our spotlight author Frank Cottrell Boyce. Please encourage your children to seek out more of his books if you get the chance. It seems many of the class are really getting the reading bug and I love to hear this.
