Team 5 w/b 13.3.17

If you've had your eyes on our Twitter page, you will have noticed what a busy week we have had in Team 5!

Team 5 opened their own Space Exploration Research Centre this week and as well as being a lot of fun, this helped us to consider how we know so much about our solar system and the universe and will prepare us for writing an explanaiton text on the topic over the coming weeks.

Many children participated in Reading Buddies, where children came into school early to enjoy sharing a book with a younger pupil and having hot chocolate and toast.  This was a great success, enjoyed by all who participated.

Team 5 have completed some of their Spring term assessments this week to help inform Mrs Raynor and I of the progress they have been making with their learning so far this term.  We will be back to business as usual next week though; continuing our learning on decimal numbers and fractions in maths and explanation texts in English.
