Team 5 WB 14.3.22

Team 5 have had yet another busy week. 

In maths we have been looking at multiplying and dividing by 10, 100 and 1000. The children have recalled this knowledge superbly. 

In English we have been looking at speech punctuation and applying this to some conversations between characters in our class text. In reading our focuses have been summarising and inference.

For science this week, the children have been developing their working scientifically skills of evaluating, prediction and measurement. They really enjoyed their practical work and their attention to detail was great. 

On Thursday, we went swimming again and the children seemed to really enjoy their lesson. The coach was certainly quiet on the way home so I know they worked hard!

Of course today is Comic Relief and the class stunned us with their fabulous hair styles! In assembly, we watched Jenni from the kitchen have her hair cut for charity. We finished the week with a sunny and happy Mouse Mania on the playground.
