Team 5 WB 15.4.24

It has been lovely to welcome Team 5 back after the Easter break.

This week been full of laughter, the odd scraped knee, knotted ribbons and lots of skipping as Team 5 have been learning the traditional May Pole dances. We have been quite lucky with the weather this week and so we have made use of the opportunity to get out and learn the different steps.

We have been very impressed to see the children’s enthusiasm and resilience in this piece of learning. We would like to invite families to come and watch Team 5 on May 1^st if they are able.

In class, among other things, we have been learning about decimal numbers in maths, we have started a new class novel entitled The Last Wild and we have been learning about relative clauses in English.

Next week we have some visitors from Bike Right to teach groups of children about how to ride their bike safely on the roads. The children who consented to take part should have had an email to confirm what day they need their bike.
