Welcome back! We hope everybody enjoyed a lovely break.

We have had a tremendous week!

I am sure that you will have been told about our visitor on Wednesday! Paul Cookson had the children roaring with laughter in both his assembly and the workshop that he completed with year 5. They learnt so much about poetry and got some fantastic ideas also.

In maths, we have been busy learning about angles this week and in English we have been identifying features in a mythical tale and planning our own myth.

On Thursday, our girls represented our school at a cricket competition whilst the boys were busy practising for Sports Day. The girls represented the school beautifully and demonstrated great resilience and sportsmanship in some tough games. We are so proud of you girls 

On Friday, Team 5 stepped into a time travel machine and travelled back to the times of the Ancient Greeks. Of course, the children looked absolutely fabulous in their costumes and they really threw themselves into the learning throughout the day.
