Team 5 WB 17.1.22
Date: 21st Jan 2022 @ 7:31pm
This week Team 5 have enjoyed learning more in their topic about the Anglo Saxons. We have thought about Anglo Saxon settlement by planning what things would have been most important to consider when looking for somewhere to live. This was a great discussion and the children decided that food, water and a good supply of natural resources were key things. We also learned about some of the jobs and roles that Anglo Saxon’s would have had. The children really enjoyed some drama activities around this learning.
In maths, we have worked on inverse operations and now we are looking at multi-step problems. The children are learning how to record the steps that are needed in order to find an ultimate solution.
In English, we have now read Queen of the Falls in its entirety and we have been picking out the key points in the story and summarising. We will be planning and writing a recount next week.
Have a wonderful weekend everybody.
