Team 5 WB 17.4.23

Welcome back! It has been lovely to see everybody again after the Easter break and hear the children’s news.
As you may have heard, this week we have started our practise for the May Pole! We have listened to the music and tried to walk out the dances. Team 5 are certainly practising their teamwork skills and showing good co-operation and resilience as we master some new skills. I hope all children are busy practising their skipping this weekend!
In other news, we have been busy writing a biography about Chris Hadfield in our English lessons. The children did a lot of preparation for this before the break and therefore they have been busy using their plans to write the sections over the week.
We have also enjoyed music lessons this week. We have learned some specific musical vocabulary and created a glossary for these words in our books. We have listened to pieces of music and tried to identify some of the musical features that we were talking about.
Finally, we had to say farewell to Miss Coppock, our student teacher, as she finished her placement today. She has been a huge asset to the class and so we gave her a jolly send-off party for Mouse Mania.
Have a lovely weekend everyone.
