Team 5 w/b 175.18

This week saw Team 5 make a special trip to the Epic Steps conference, hosted by O2 at their cavernous, glass-fronted building in Preston Brook.  We teamed up with our neighbours, Helsby Hillside, to solve challenges.  The first challenge saw us coming up with ideas for how to escape a desert island - the more creative the better!  One group came up with the tremendous idea to use a rainbow!  After lunch, we were taken on a tour of the building by a very friendly man whose nickname was Peanut.  We were very intruiged by the break room, which had games consoles and even a driving game (complete with steering wheel!).  

We learned about how technology and science can solve some of the world's problems, and identified our own strengths.  We especially loved the 'tower of trees' and the Hyperloop!
