Team 5 w/b 2.12.1

This week, Team 5 wrote 100 word traditional tales.  Once we've finished proofreading them next week, 5 of us will be sharing them with Team 2.  To make our writing more interesting, we've been focusing on using expanded noun phrases, adding adjectives and prepositional phrases to nouns.  

In Science, we compared the life cycles of a mammal and either a bird or an amphibian.  We've been loving our daily whole-class reading lessons, as well as our daily afternoon reading of Cogheart.  

We ended the week with a trip to St Paul's church with Team 6 to practise for our Carol Concert next Monday evening.  We walked all the way there and back; Mr Thomas was very proud of our singing and behaviour.
