Team 5 WB 2.11.21

Team 5 have been straight back into their learning this week after the half term break. It feels fantastic to have everybody back!

We have been focussing on poetry in our reading sessions and the children have worked hard to interpret quite a tricky poem. 

In maths, we have been recapping division in our daily “check its” and looking at the place value of digits to 1 million. 

In English, we have started preparing for our new text, Queen of the Falls. The children were very excited to find out what the main character was famous for. We have also been recapping our knowledge of different types of punctuation.

The main focus for this week has been practising for our class assembly. The children can't wait to show you all what we have been learning about in our themed curriculum and we hope you can join us on Tuesday.
