Where did the week go? It always seems to go in a flash in Team 5!

This week we finished our class novel – Cogheart. It was a great book and I think we were all on the edge of our seats by the end! We will now be starting Holes by Louis Sachar. I have asked the children to refrain from watching the film until we have finished the text so that we can enjoy the journey together.

Today we went to Reception to do some reading with our buddies. It was so lovely to watch Team 5 sharing stories and enjoying this time together.

It was excellent to welcome so many fmailies to our open day this week. I think that the children enjoyed proudly sharing their books with you. In Team 5 we always strive to be the best that we can be and we hope that you can see these efforts.

In maths, we have been working on multiplication by partitioning. It is very important that children are continuing to access Times Tables Rockstars to keep the times tables knowledge fresh and accessible. We will be doing more on this next week!
