Team 5 WB 24.6.24
Date: 28th Jun 2024 @ 3:05pm
Hello Team 5 families.
At school today, Team 5 have been busy sewing their bag in their DT lesson. This lesson required the children to demonstrate perseverance and resilience! Mrs Caroe supported the children with the sewing machine and Mr Kershaw was busy with a needle and thread – it was real teamwork!
This afternoon Team 5 and Team 6 joined forces to take part in a cricket celebration. The children played really well and we hope they feel that they have learned some new skills. Of course the main objective was to have some fun but we noticed that we have some superb cricketers in our class – well done.
This week we have also been busy completing a big piece of writing to mark the end of our literacy unit. The children had to write a text to inform somebody about environmental issues and what measures people can put in place to help. This is closely linked with our geography learning about a local environmental issue. Please look out for the letter I have emailed to explain that Team 5 are going out on a walk into Helsby to complete a litter pick on Thursday 4th July.
Have a great weekend,
Mrs Hughes
