Team 5: w/b 25.04.16

This week in Team 5 we continued with our fantasy portal stories: this time we were innovating the original text and developing our own ideas. Within Maths, we focused upon problem solving in relation to tables, graphs and timetables.

In Science, we continued with our Forces unit. We began the week with an investigation: the children had to design and create two parachutes on the premise of deciding which material / size of parachute had the greatest amount of air resistance. We explored the concept of air resistance further during our write up of the investigation. 

We finished the week with an interesting debate about the EU Referendum. All of the children had questions and they were keen to voice their own opinions, it was great to hear them discussing and commenting upon the current situation in the United Kingdom.
