Team 5 WB 26.2.24

Hello!

It was lovely to welcome the children back after half term on Monday and we hope everyone had chance to have a rest.

This week we have started learning about the Vikings! We made a long ship in the classroom and recreated the Viking arrival in Great Britain before we headed into the woodland for some spear throwing practice! We have generated some enquiry questions about what we will explore and research over the coming weeks in this lesson.

In our computing lesson we were introduced to some new vocabulary: switch, network and server. We used skipping ropes to learn about the function of a switch and how computers in a network send messages to one another.

We have been busy revisiting some previously taught skills in English to ensure we have a secure understanding. We have been reading the text Arthur and the Golden Rope and using the story to create our own expanded noun phrases and speech sandwiches!

On Thursday, Team 5 were a superb audience for Team 2’s class assembly. It will be our turn very soon as we have Team 5’s assembly on 14^th March!
