Team 5 WB 26.6.23

Team 5 have completed some super work this week and demonstrated a positive attitude throughout.

I think the highlight this week was the superb art lessons with Mrs Coman Jones where the children used clay to make animals or birds. The class demonstrated patience and resilience as they tried and tested new techniques and worked with this tricky medium. The classroom was a bit of a mess (!) but the finished pieces were excellent.

In maths we completed our learning about fractions, percentages and decimals and started a new unit on geometry. Protractors at the ready next week! In English we have been writing sentences with relative clauses and high level vocabulary and spellings. We are also very much enjoying the daily reading from our class novel (Holes by Louis Sachar).
