Team 5 WB 28.2.22

Team 5 have returned from the half term break beautifully and have had an amazing week.

This week we have been focusing on refugees as we have started work on a poetry project. The children have shown such maturity and understanding of this complex topic and they really have blown us away with their empathy. We can't wait to share our poetry work with you. 

In maths we have been looking at prime and square numbers and in science we investigated materials. As part of our topic work, we looked at the Viking invasion of Lindisfarne and we created news reports of the event. 

On Thursday, the children looked fabulous in their World Book Day costumes and we would like to thank all of the families for your support with this. Team 5 rocked the costumes in the whole school parade and they supported their buddies in Reception who took part too.

Finally, we finished the week with some learning about what Lent means to Christians and we enjoyed a pancake or two!
