Team 5: w/b 3.11.15

This week we have been very busy!

In English, we have been looking at poetry with a particular focus upon metaphors. We learned a metaphorical poem using an action map and then had a go at writing our own.

In Maths, we carried out some further learning on fractions and multiples to ensure that our knowledge is secure. We also recapped on how to use the grid method in preparation for long multiplication next week.

We have also began to practise for our christmas production; learning songs and auditioning for parts. All of the children were very enthusiastic during the practises and many were keen to audition!
