Team 5 WB 4.1.22

Welcome back! We hope all of our Team 5 families had a lovely break over the Christmas period.

Although it has been a short week, we have been pretty busy.

Lesson 1 on the first day was a maths lesson about multiplication. This has definitely been a test of resilience and it has caused a few of us to scratch our heads! However, progress has been made and the children tell me they are beginning to feel more confident. We’ll be doing more next week.

The children were very excited when we opened the boxes of new reading books that arrived from the education library. Many children chose one of our new books and it was lovely to hear them talking so enthusiastically about these texts.

In PSHE we talked about New Year resolutions. We also talked about aspirations for being a model British citizen and the quality of discussion was excellent.
