Welcome to the first blog of the year for Team 5. What a scorcher it has been!

It has been so lovely to welcome all of the children back to school and we are so lucky to have some new faces in our class too.

This week has really been all about getting to know the routines, systems and expectations. We have done some beautiful handwriting, some good sentence work and started our place value topic in maths. We have recapped our knowledge of the UK and the children should be able to tell you about 4 countries, the surrounding seas and information about capital cities. PE with Mr. Kershaw was great fun and the children have played games with teambuilding and communication skills.
