Team 5: w/b 5.12.16

This week in Maths, Team 5 have begun practising written methods for multiplication up to 4 digit numbers, applying these skills to their wider mathematical reasoning.  Team 5 have begun writing and making their Christmas stories, using a writing toolkit to ensure that we include the higher lever punctuation and grammatical skills we have been practising over the last few weeks, in order to upskill our writing. 

We are all so proud of the childrens' performance in the Christmas production; well done guys!

Towards the end of the week, the children worked really hard to complete our end of term assessments. It was a fantastic opportunity for them to showcase what they have learnt across reading, spelling and mathematics during the Autumn term.

We also had an arty afternoon on Thursday, making and decorating Christmas cards. They all look wonderful, and the children are looking forward to taking them home!
