Team 5 w/b 5.2.18
Date: 9th Feb 2018 @ 3:18pm
A week of celebration and farewells in Team 5. We celebrated our school's Rainbow Day on Thursday, with children and staff all dressing in our brightest colours and bringing in pictures of our family.
We had a special assembly in the morning. We played a game of 'sticky hands' where the whole school walked around the hall and discussed with one another the similarities and differences between our families. Mrs Wyatt then showed us how to draw a picture of our family and sent us back to class.
We then made our pictures before setting off on our final swimming trip of the year. We enjoyed playing games for the final 15 minutes are were all very proud of the progress we have made over the past 10 weeks.
Today we said farewell to Mrs Calow, who has worked on the office for the past 13 years. We wrote a Kenning poem about her and ran a lap of the field in her honour, cheering and applauding Mrs Calow as we went past. We wish her all the very best of luck for the future and want to thank her for her patience, kindness and helpfulness during our time in school.
Next week's Mouse Mania is sports.
Have a wonderful weekend!
