Team 5 have done some super learning this week ?

For English this week, we have been recounting an adventure based upon our class story. In the story, Arthur had a perilous journey across the ocean where he met a sea octopus, jagged rocks and a ghost ship!

In maths, we have been continuing our work on formal written methods for multiplication and division and particularly working on 2 digit x 2 digit multiplication. We have also been continuing to practise our times tables to ensure that this skills do not slip.

In reading, our comprehension has been based on space, as we start our new topic and science focus – Adventures in Space.

The children really enjoyed science this week, where they reviewed secondary sources of evidence regarding the shape of the world. They then developed their argument and had to prove to Mr F that the world was indeed round.
