Well done on a productive week Team 5.

A huge congratulations to the members of Team 5 who took part in the Bikeability training. The instructors were extremely impressed with the behaviour and attitudes of the children involved. We think that the children felt they had learned a lot from the experience.

In class we have been adding and subtracting with decimals in maths lessons. In English, we wrote a recount about the main character in our class book. In reading lessons, we looked at a classic poem The Highwayman by Alfred Noyes.

You might find that the children are talking about our science learning this half term. This week we looked at the order of the planets in the solar system. We also saw a video of the moon landing in 1969 and have recorded some facts about this.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone. We look forward to a busy week with a May Pole Dance and then a school trip next week! Take care,
