Team 6 - 09.09.19

We have had a brilliant week in Team 6 with the class continuing to display excellent behaviour and attitudes towards their learning.

In Team 6, we have been working hard on improving our spelling and grammar in our writing. We have been investigating the spelling rules for adding suffixes and have been focusing on proof reading our writing to identify any errors.  We have also been clarifying the correct use of the apostrophe and looking at identifying plural, contractions and possession so that we learn to use apostrophes correctly.

In Maths, we have been developing our place value skills, looking and unpicking  numbers up to millions. We have been ordering and comparing numbers and taking part in various problem solving activities.

Also this week, in History, we looked at and ordered different periods in our History. We then focused on key events since the birth of Jesus in British History. We created a timeline of some of these key events.
