Team 6 wb: 13.11.23

In Team Six this week we have had visitors from Cheshire Phoenix Basketball Club where we learnt about healthy eating, anti-smoking, and basketball skills. We also all got a free match ticket to any home game this season!

On Wednesday, we carried on our topic of cricket in PE and this week we focused on bowling - learning how to throw the ball properly.

This week to celebrate anti-bullying and children in need we had a “dress loud” day where we all came in in our brightest clothes! We discussed bullying in assembly and the Head Pupils and School Councillors planned some sessions around our school rules and behviour policy to share with classes around the school.

In maths, we have been learning about factors, multiples and prime numbers. We have been answering questions in our textbooks and doing journaling in our maths books.

In English, we have started writing our stories based on “star of fear star of hope” our class text after we finished planning it.

In reading lessons, we started a new class book called “room thirteen” a horror story about a year eight class who went on weeklong trip to Whitby. They stay in a hotel without a room thirteen but at night time a cleaning cupboard next to room twelve turns into room thirteen. But what awaits behind the door?...
