Team 6: wb 16.10.23

This week in team six we found out who the head pupils were! The pupils chosen were Harry, Hollie and Maia. Everyone had absolutely amazing speeches but the people who didn’t get to be head pupil still got to be part of the school council. A big well done to all involved. 

In English this week we learnt about passive voice and active voice. We have been practising these types of sentences while writing about our current English class text: star of fear , star of hope.

In maths we started learning about long division and it was very hard. We started off easier to learn the method and then we got into the more complicated equations.

In reading our theme was spooky stories. The extracts we looked at were really enjoyable and popular in the reading area! We carried on with our class text, which is Letters from the Lighthouse by Emma Carroll.

In art we finished our propaganda posters (a type of poster that was used a lot in WWll).
