Team 6 have had the most exciting adventure this week!
Of course as you all know we have been on a very fun residential and many of us have pushed ourselves out of our comfort zones and a lot of us faced all of our fears! We spent four wonderful days there. One of the most popular activities was the 3G swing where you pulled yourself up as high as you wanted to and when you were ready, you pushed a red rope and you dropped. This gave people quite a shock as you swung very high.
Another very popular activity was the leap of faith where you climbed up a wooden pole (with a harness on of course) and when you got to the top you climbed onto a platform and tried to hit a ball as you jumped off. Once you jumped off you swung a bit which was good fun! We also all had the pleasure to watch the teachers do the activities as well.
We also had a lot more activities including Jacobs ladder, jungle vines, bouldering (indoor rock climbing where you go across the wall instead of up) canoeing, and many more fun things.
Every morning, midday and evening we all had very nice meals. We had different choices of what we could eat and even had a scrumptious salad bar. The things in the salad bar in the morning were things like yoghurt, watermelon and different cereals. In midday, we had things like, bread rolls, different veg and sometimes pasta. Overall the food was great!
We had an amazing time. It's been a wonderful start to Team 6.
