Team 6 Wb 20.11.17

This week in Team 6 we have been very busy rehearsing our Christmas production- and we will be having another busy week of rehearsals next week too!

As well as doing this, we have been working on multiplication and division in maths- focusing on using our understanding of place value to explain what happens to numbers when we multiply and divide them by 10, 100 and 1,000. 

In English we started learning our new class text- a newspaper report entitles 'Curious Creatures Caputred'. In English and guided read, we have been focusing on explaining our understanding of vocabulary and learning strategies that we can use when we are not sure what a word means. We became much more confident as the week progressed and we were able to explain and use these strategies well. 

In Science, we planned and carried out an investigation linked to our pulse rate and how the heart pumps blood around our bodies. We also did some boxercise in PE with Mr Horabin and James helped us prepare for our Christmas production by doing some singing with us in music!
