This week in maths we have been dividing fractions by whole numbers before completing a review in our textbooks about our unit in fractions so far.

In English we have designing our own version of the posters Caribbean people saw around their town trying to persuade them to move to England and help rebuild after WW2. we have been using modal verbs and adverbs for possibility within our writing.

In art we have been focusing on cross hatching, hatching and shading. We then followed videos of how to draw bugs and used our skills of shading and cross hatching to add detail to our drawings.

In science we have carried on our topic of Carl Linneaus, a Swedish biologist who invented the classification system for all living things.

In geography we have continued our learning our South America. We focused on the countries, capital cities and the biomes across the continent.
