Team 6: wb 25.11.24

In Team 6 this week, we have been working on adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions in Maths. We have learned the methods for multiplying and dividing fractions. It has been really challenging but we powered through and completed the unit!! We will continue to work on these in our morning challenges and check its, but Mrs Jobber has said that if we have the CGP books, calculating with fractions would be worthwhile going over at home.

In English, we have been focusing on Modal Verbs and Adverbs for Frequency and Possibility e.g. will, can, would, possibly, definitely, and have been using them in sentences about out Windrush learning.

In Art we have been working extremely hard completing our final piece: painting with acrylics. We have been looking at portraits of our chosen person and focusing on shades of light and dark. They are soooo good!

We finished the week with a long read of our class book after pleading with Mrs Jobber to read more. It was quite an emotional ending. We look forward to starting our new one next week J
