Hello everyone, welcome to the blog. We hope you had a nice Easter and two weeks off! Let’s get started with the blog.

In Maths, we have been learning about angles: adjacent, reflex, right, acute and obtuse. We have been learning how to measure them and work out angle sizes without measuring. 

In English, we have been learning what semi-colons and colons are; we have been using them in our writing. We have also been writing different letters in different point of views, one from the giant (from our book ‘’The Selfish Giant’’) and a bystander watching all the commotion.

In whole class reading, we have been learning about different poems and a lesson on our new class book ‘Explorer ‘written by Katherine Rundell.

In Science, we have been learning about inherited characteristics and adaptive traits.

In Swimming, we have done a test to see where we are. Some of us are in the main pool where others are in the deeper end. We can't wait to start lessons properly next week.
