Team 6 Wb 27.2.17

This week has been very busy for Team 6! We are working really hard, carrying on with our learning and fitting in extra practise and revision. As part of our 'Superheroes and Villains' week, we created our own superheroes  and wrote a character description. We were then set the challenge of working with a partner to edit and improve it, redrafting it with a word limit of 80 words. We really had to choose our vocabulary carefully!

Thursday was World Book Day. We loved dressing up as our favourite book characters and our costumes were great! We started our art work for the gallery event- we are looking forward to seeing our art work on display!

In maths this week we have worked on BODMAS- which helps us remember which order to do calculations when we have more than one operation is the same sum. We also looked at squared and cubed numbers and did some multi-step problem solving.

On Friday we had our Team 6 photo taken, and we had a great time looking at our reception version of the photo!

Finally, a big well done to our prize winners this week: 

-Luke Lee was our Big Cheese of the week this week, for excellent communication and collaboration

-William John won the World Book Day competition for guessing the teachers favourite books

-Lucy Clift and Chloe Newman won prizes for their wonderful World Book Day costumes!
