Team 6's week started off wonderfully with our Chinese New Year dancing. We really enjoyed this, as well as learning more about Chinese New Year and doing some dragon art work on Monday afternoon.
This week in English we have been learning to write balanced arguements. First we wrote a balanced arguement in response to the question 'Should Phillipe Petit have walked between the Twin Towers?' and then, at the end of the week, we applied this to our topic learning and asked ourselves 'Should mobile phones be banned for children younger than 12?'. Team 6 wrote thoughtful texts which showed understanding of a range of safety issues.
In maths we have been turning fractions into decial equivalanets and rounding decimals. Towards the end of the week we had another go at some arithmetic questions. I am so impressed with the children's commitment to improve and the wonderful attitude they are showing. Well done Team 6!
