Team 6 wb 4.5.21

It may have been a shorter week this week in school, but it was no less busy!

A highlight of our week was definitely Team 6 performing the Maypole! I have been so proud of how they have thrown themselves into it and the smiles on their faces when they finally got to perform it was worth all their hard work.  It was great to see such an excellent turn out from parents too - it felt so good to have parents involved with us once more.  Thank you for joining us!

In class this week, Team 6 have been continuing with our art project 'Protest Art' and researching the works of Banksy.  We have debated our thoughts on this style of art and shared our own opinions about it.  We all created an artist focus page in our sketch books and further developed our presentation of work and how we set out our research.

Also this week, Team 6 have been busy developing our non-fiction writing and working on extending the information that we give the reader using subordination or parenthesis.  I have been impressed at the quality of writing that the children have produced.
