In English this week, we have started our new unit about Ernest Shackleton and his journey to Antarctica. We made predictions on what the story would be about and have looked at writing formally. 

This week in Art, we finished off our frames for our final pieces from last week and cut them out. While finishing them off  we added extra details that we learned about.

Maths was continuing with conversions. Today, we converted minutes to hours and seconds. We also completed a review to test our knowledge on what we had learned over this unit.

Our theme this week in reading was about neurodiversity. We read about autism in a magazine and some books in which people had dylexia or autism.

Speaking of neurodiversity, some visitors from a company called RSK came and talked to us about the ND team and their superpowers, which included having autism or dyspraxia along with other hidden disabilities. It was really interesting and the workshops were very fun!
