Since we have come back from the summer holidays, we have been very busy in Team 5!

We have learnt our new routines and class responsibilities, with all children settling in well and enthusiastic for the new term.

Within our mathematics lessons we have began by covering place value, rounding and mental calculations. These skills will be revisited, consolidated and mastered throughout our mathematics learning.

We have also began work on our topic, Conquest!, looking at History elements to begin with and Geography elements this week.

During English we have been learning the journey story Farther by Grahame Baker-Smith using a story map, and this week we have been drawing up a story map for our own journey story.

Have a great weekend, and we will look forward to furthering our learning again next week!
