What a busy week! 

In English this week, we have been looking at using contractions and -er/-est endings in our work. The children have been implementing these when writing about our class story 'The last wolf'. They are really enjoying this book and it is fabulous to see such engagement when we are discussing on the carpet. We had look at endangered animals and why would it be the 'last' wolf. 

In maths, we have been looking at time, this is really tricky so any work that can be done at home would be really appreciated. We looked at quarter to, quarter past and half past. We have started to look at volume today and they have really enjoyed this. 

We has sports day this week which the children really enjoyed and I am so glad the weather was lovely! 

We have also done lots of art this week and have been looking at different techniques for painting.
